: Convenient right off the highway. Gas station across the street for snacks and gas, restaurant attached to hotel. : I got a creepy vibe the whole time, I think it has more to do with the one horse town than the hotel. Door security guard was broken.

: Sandman McBride is an older hotel under new management that has made significant improvements from the last time we stayed here. The rooms are clean comfortable and fully equiped; the management courteous and engaging. The hotel is a very adequate wayside stop on a long lonely highway. It is not a vacation resort.

: Location was was easy to find : Coffee pot in room had old coffee dried in the bottom, water temperature in the shower wasnt consistent, ice cold then burning hot, falsely advertised on the website.

: I needed a room and they had one. : The Sandman Group hasn't spent any money on upkeep for decades. Like many hotels the heat was not turned on before I arrived and it took much of the night to reach a comfortable temp. Not the staff's fault, this is the way Sandman runs it's other small locations.

: Close to everything : Our ac unit didnt work- there were stains everywhere especially in the walls- our bed was definitely broken. Just all in all needs an update I would say
